Shamanic healing works on the energetic level of the individual. Central to Shamanic therapy is the understanding that traumas create blockages in our energetic field/aura. Shamanic healing helps you to achieve ‘wholeness of being’ by removing these energetic blockages, and helping you to return to full health.

Shamanism is the oldest form of spiritual practice and there are many different forms of it. For centuries, these techniques have developed and become more refined, focusing on the root causes of physical and psychological issues.

I qualified as an Energy Medicine Practitioner and Health Coach in 2017, and in 2019 I completed a year-long training programme with a wonderful local shaman practicing in Lincolnshire.

Shamanism and Psychotherapy complement each other perfectly. My approach is slightly different to what you might experience within a freestanding Shamanic practice. If you are open to trying Shamanic methods, we will discuss this first and if required I will provide you with some reading materials before we begin.

This therapy works best when we have built up a good therapeutic relationship. As the psychotherapist, I act as a bridge between healing approaches, connecting non-ordinary reality and ordinary reality which often brings further insights into the psychotherapeutic process.

You will remain fully clothed throughout and only need to remove your footwear and coat.
